This is a laced boards binding sewn on cords. I’ve used 1/4 Pentland goat leather in turquoise across the spine with matching leather hinges and paper covers and handmade endpapers. The endpapers were created with bits of dyed cotton rag paper layered over mulberry. The edges are torn to reflect the theme of the book.
I chose the cover paper design to reflect the bright colors in the text, especially the reddish orange font at the start of each chapter and the gold in many of the finished paper projects.
